The Green AI Day is an initiative of the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation and NEW Stuttgart, which brings together stakeholders from business, research and politics to make sustainable AI projects visible and promote cooperation. With the aim of creating an interactive event around green tech and artificial intelligence, 230 guests were involved on site and numerous others via the app. Special attention was paid to an experience that creates exchange, visibility and engagement - despite the short preparation time and unusual location.
Challenges and goals
The organizers of Green AI Day were faced with the task of creating an event that would bring sustainable innovation to life and at the same time connect different target groups. There were three central challenges:
Orientation at a special event location
The combination of ship and jetty was unique - but also challenging. The locations had to be intuitive to find and guests had to be guided smoothly through the event.
Efficiency with short preparation time
With only four weeks to go live, everything had to happen quickly. The aim was to add content easily, take the pressure off the team and still offer an interactive event experience.
Visibility for partners and guest integration
Sponsors and partners should be more than just logos - their role in the event should be brought to life. At the same time, it was important to actively involve the participants, e.g. in the live voting, and to get them excited about the topic.
